Onset Asthma
Onset asthma is whereby one develops asthma after birth. This is usually because of the surrounding conditions. Causes of onset asthma include smoking, air pollution, allergies, eczema etc. These can be developed later in life even if one did not have them during infancy or childhood. This condition affects both young and old alike.
Onset asthma can therefore be prevented. In the case of smoking, it is clearly advised that smoking is harmful to one’s health and one of the reparcations is asthma. Air pollution can also be avoided by keeping one’s surroundings clean, fresh and healthy. If the work place is usually polluted, it is usually advisable for one to wear protective gear at all times.
Symptoms that are seen in an onset asthma are; coughing, wheezing, tight chest and shortness of breath. These symptoms are usually triggered by some conditions that one could be reacting to. This may be fungi, mold, emotions, sex, hormones, house dust mite, allergies etc. If these triggers are avoided, it becomes easier to control one’s condition. Keeping one’s condition under control enables it not to get worse.
Onset asthma doesn’t have a permanent cure and therefore the mode of treatment given is for control. These are steroid tablets, syrups, inhalers and machines. Personal treatment is risky therefore, one should see a doctor and should not buy drugs over the counter (OTC). Proper treatment and control for this will definitely lead to a normal healthy life, one need not change their life style at all.
