Eczema Free Forever

Why is my face peeling? – Proactiv™ Related?

I’ve been using proactiv a little over a month now, and my face has suddenly started going crazy. I had a pimple near my jawline of my face, and the pimple didn’t fade, just got huge, etc. So while using proactiv, it must’ve burst. I didn’t think much of it. The next day I woke up, and the skin for about 5mm in each direction around the pimple was red and peeling. Now, I have about 7 different spots around the area that are doing the same thing, and it stings and is sometimes itchy. I’ve stopped using proactiv for about two days now, and have been using Spectro eczema Care cream. Its not getting any better at all, and I look like i was dragged on pavement and my face scraped along for a mile. Haha. Bottom line though, it’s embarrassing.

Details:
Acne on forehead
Not so bad on nose, but bad nonetheless.
Everywhere else was acne-free.

Proactiv definitely does not work for me.

Any suggestions as to what to do?

Go to a dermatologist right away, or they could leave life-long scars. Maybe try reading the label and see if u are allergic to anything in there. Try to put ice on it to minimize swelling and redness. Do not use it again, of course. If that happens again, and ur dermatologist or doctor didn’t give u anything, make sure that they do something. Don’t put makeup on it!!!!!!! Srry if ur a guy… Good luck!!!!!!!
