skin problems english bulldogs

About English Bulldogs?
Where could I get one from a shelter in the Strafford county area of NH? If I don’t get one from a shelter how much can they sell for? Do they all share common problems, like skin troubles or cancer?
FEARED & ENVIED! …. please don’t be rude.
And sorry, I thought it was a breed, since there is American, English, and French…
And no I’m not just part of a ‘fad’ I love dogs and I think they are adorable
Yo LO! Aussie Grins, thank you for being polite and giving a fact about it instead of blasting me.
To FEARED AND ENVIED & Yo LO Aussie you are both wrong – nothing annoys me more than those who are quick to proclaim that they are a wealth of information when truly they know diddly squat!
Take a look at this site to see how many types of Bulldogs there are! 14 in all!! No need to be so rude & cocky when you are the one who hasn’t done his homework & definitley doesn’t know it all (although F&E you sure act like it!)

It is a British Bulldog – the type seen by Churchill’s side also known as an English Bulldog – so stuff that in your pipe and smoke it. (you are probably already on the pipe F&E

I adore them – they are such a wonderful dog and I have many friends in Australia with them & always go and play with them and the puppies at the dog shows I attend.. Magic Dogs!
Perhaps you could go to a Dog Show to meet the local breeders in your area – sometimes they have mature dogs or retired stud dogs that need homes.
