seborrheic eczema scalp

Care for infants with seborrheic dermatitis?
My 11 weeks old, is seborrheic dermatitis. A doctor fill my pediatrician had diagnosed as eczema, but my pediatrician re-diagnosed with it. Her recommendations were to wash her body and hair with Cetaphil and use head and shoulders on her hair two times a week. She also recommended Cetaphil lotion to the body. She has dermatitis on her scalp, face and ears, sometimes erupting on her chest and arms. I just bought some Aquaphillic ointment, which I had heard was great for eczema. Has anyone used this for a child with seborrheic dermatitis also? Is there anything else that can done beyond what the doctor mentioned? And what could be causing this? I read that the dermatitis does not appear to be related to allergies, but it seems to get worse when I nurse her. We have already ruled out a milk allergy. Any thoughts? Also – any oatmeal products make the condition worse. She said we could try a mild steroid product, if the above steps did not work.
just give the cetaphil time it will work.
