How do you differentiate psoriasis from eczema on the tibia (only 1 page)?
History of childhood and family eczema (bending the elbow). Told to have psoriasis but no published tests. Since hydrocortisone for ear & scalp. Shin patch is slightly elevated, mild silvery scales quite well demarkcated, irregular shaped, intermittent itching (controlled with emollients). Nowhere else on the affected organ. No pitting of nails. Can coexist with psoriasis eczema? Please help!
excema sounds to me, I should know ive had it since I was 2 months old and now im 25th the hydrocortisone will help a lot, as it has mild steriods in it. excema and psoriasis are 2 totally different things, so know ive never heard that you can have both conditions at once. stick to the cream doc gave you and moisturizer if your skin becomes just dare to have a bath with baby oil as it will moisten it so good. if cortisone cream does not work (should in a week) then go back and ask for aa stronger dose of luck Charms
