Can I use James Wong's viola and chamomile flower cream on my 2 years old?
My eczema is much better with James Wong's viola flowers and chamomile cream. I recently modified the recipe to include Marigold (Calendula). It is now stings less. I think what makes it plug is Viola tricolor. I do not want to bury my daughter.
If it is all natural I'm not sure why it would sting at first. If this is something you've made yourself from the recipe on the internet then maybe you have a sensitivity to one of the ingredients so should know what one has. Do you have a nut allergy, for example? Could be almond oil, if you used it. You can try switching to a non-nut oils. Make sure you only use vegetable glycerin as well. If you want to try it to your daughter you should try a patch test first, as a very small amount on the back of a knee or wrist and check for any reaction either visible or signs of itching of your daughter or discomfort after a few hours.
