hand eczema pompholyx

HELP small blisters all over my hands!?
I have hundreds of small blisters around the back of my hand, fingers and palm, which is really itchy and uncomfortable. I went to the doctor and got antibiotics and anti-fungal cream to use, but theres still no avail! I do not see any effect … Indeed, it is still spreading, even to my wrists and now my left hand! I tried searching the net and I think I could have pompholyx / dyshidrotic eczema but I'm not sure … if it really is eczema. how long would it approximately take to disappear? i really need it to be gone soon cause I have a big project I have need to hand up really quickly and I can not work with my hands in that state. HELP!
I think you're probably closer to the answer than your doctor is! It is NOT a fungal disease, so you can stop using the antifungal medication. Pompholyx is a form of eczema dyshidrotic where large bullae appear on the palms and the fact you have a lot of small blisters on both tops and palms indicates that you probably have a different form of eczema, perhaps a contact dermatitis. It really makes no difference At the start of treatment, the type of eczema you have, since treatment with cortisone products will be the same. But if it is a form of dyshidrotic eczema, then you probably want to have repeated bouts of it, if it is a contact dermatitis, thus avoiding the charge chemical allows you to not have the condition again. If the current problem is serious enough, you need either a prescription-strength cream or even oral cortisone. Go to your dermatologist, not a GP.
