3 months old has a bad case of eczema impetigo?
Help! For the past two weeks, 3 months old I have been fighting a bad cases of eczema impetigo of the face. It is literally across the face. We have been to the pediatrician and dermatologist. Does anyone have any suggestions that work with impetigo. Since Thursday we spent Centany and it is not working. He scratches all over. I put on mitts and swaddle but everything he does is cry and get no sleep b / c of it. I know my wits end b / c nothing seems to get rid of it. Ryanmikac is Centany It should show the same day or next day results? We have just started to use Thursday night.
Centany is the best for impetigo, only it is caused by Staphylococcus or Streptococcus (as it usually is). Neosporin, covering a wider range of bacteria 3x per day has also been proven useful. Do not use both at the same time though. If it does not work, your son may need an erythromycin injection well. Also put centany somwhere places on his body as his arm. If his arm flaring up, or he starts itching what he is allergic against it Not that it really matters, but FYI, the penicillin most likely not work, you need some anti-staph. Too much antibiotic resistance built up against penicillin
