eczema ring finger
I can not wear my engagement ring!?
Whatever the reason, I broke out with eczema in years (it runs in my family, it is basically just really really dry patches of skin). It is on my ring finger and wrist very badly and when I wear my engagement ring is just rubbing my skin raw! I am out of ideas and get really bummed out: (Any advice is much appreciated!
My sister has bad eczema and she found Eucerin to be very useful to keep impurities down. It is a rather oily oinment, but is very good to keep the dry patches down. You must also consider that you are allergic to the metal in the ring. Do you wear other jewelry that gives you trouble? My sister can not wear anything, but 18K gold or she breaks out badly. If it is a question of allergy you can always coat the inside of the ring, where it touches your skin with clear nail polish.
