eczema puffy eyes

Itchy, red, dry and sore eyelids …..?
Over the past week or so I've had really itchy, red, dry and sore eyelids, corners of my eyes and now taking them a little, and my eyes are also a little bit puffy, especially in a morning. I changed all my makeup to allergy tested clinique stuff and all my brushes as I thought it was because of this, but no change. I have very dry skin anyway, but never had eczema as such. I thought it could be due to winter weather as my skin always get very dry this time of year. I have taken the makeup off in one night and all weekend and apply lots of E45 cream, but it is still the same shame. I have a docs APPT on Tuesday morning, but wondered if anyone had any relief or counseling until then? Thanks
I had this for several months and could not figure out what it was. It was actually an allergy to nail polish, where my fingers were touching my eyes. Def go to your doctor because they prescribed me some good cream that cleared up in a week, but in the meantime stop any use of nail polish or false nails and see if it helps.
