Tips for my eczema? people who have it to comment!?
Well I was born with it im using the stuff for years had it all my body, but mainly O on my hands when I sleep I hold my hands in my blanket or else I get a cold and hot when its sooooo itchy! and if I scratch too much I tear the skin leaving painful cuts and peeling D: how to stop itching? I have some cream, but not really been using since I hate it = O oh yeah u know how when you itch it a lot and the finger's skin is too damaged, and when its healing theres them clear fluid under the skin cure? I pop it oo I suppose that wut it is>: O, and how u make the skin heals back quickly? I usually just bandage it up oo mom says its bad cuz ur skin can breathe oo
When I was a child my mother made me wear cotton gloves to bed so I would not scratch, while I slept. This should also work to keep you from scratching your hands. It may be a bit better than bandaging your hands, give your skin a little breathing room. And just like Zoe said, you can put the ointment on gloves before. Your skin will absorb it better and it will not be infected by on your carpets. All hate ointment doctors give you, but you really need it. It will help you to stop itching and your skin will begin to heal. If it burns or something, ask for a prescription, there is a little less strong. You can get some hydro-cortisone over-the-counter, and they are pretty mild. I propose to take Benadryl or other anti-histamine night before you go to sleep. Eczema is usually caused by allergens, and a anti-histamine will help prevent more itching. I say take it at bed time because Benadryl will make you drowsy, absolutely not take it before driving. Do not soap or lotion with a color or fragrances in them. These can irritate the skin. I use Dove and Neutrogena products, they are both good for your skin and comes recommended by many dermatologists. In addition to flavor and color without soap on your skin, you should also look for scent and color and cleaning your clothes. I hope that none of these tips will help you out; suffered with eczema all my life also.
