eczema – The Worst Eczema Aggravators
In cases where an Eczema condition is not reached, but a small scene, both men and women deal it just as if it was a minor disturbance. It is just another small, dry and red patches on the skin, which is located at an elbow or a shoulder.
But if things turn severe, people (again both men and women, but with a focus on women's reactions) start to say that they can not even develop a social life anymore.
Unfortunately, it happens regularly that people, while treating their skin, forget about the factors contributing to its deterioration. And you try in vain to get rid of the disease as long as you keep exposing the skin to the influence of agents who actually turns worse.
Water and Soap
A question has been exposed to water. Increased exposure certainly exacerbate an already installed Eczema. On the other hand, what should we do? Are we no longer bathe?
Well, there is no proposal for such an absurd project. On the contrary, bathing is a must. Simply reduce the time you spend in the bathtub or the shower. Prolonged exposure to water will dehydrate the skin and the fin.
Also when you bathe or wash dishes or when you have no other contact with water, make sure its temperature is not extreme. Bet on bathing in lukewarm water. Too hot or too cold fluid environments determine skin reactions that aggravate eczema.
Moreover, to offset any aggravating effect, try to use soap substitutes and bath / shower emollient. Common soaps and shower gels lead for dry skin. This means further complications of an already existing dermatitis. So it is better to stay away from too long contact with water and from contact with harsh drying soaps and other bathing detergent.
For example (oatmeal bath we've already talked about them in one of the previous chapters) is a blessing for an irritable skin. Add two cups of a colloidal oatmeal product (such as the one pictured above) in warm water will work perfectly as a soap substitute.
It's all in Fabric
Coarse fabric (wool body) and synthetic materials that make the skin more sensitive. In cases where an Eczema condition is already clear, such clothing will irritate the skin even more.
If you wish to avoid additional, unnecessary, and irritating skin irritation, try wearing the clothing near / on the skin which is made of cotton. Cotton is soft and smooth and does not damage skin.
