How to fix dry skin patches on eyelid?

A couple months ago in gym class I got hit in the face with a lacrosse ball and it ripped out a few of my eyelashes and marked up my eyelid a bit. About a week after that, my eyelid started to get small dry skin patches that appear every morning that sometimes peel and flake. (I don’t know if getting hit in the eye caused this though). They don’t itch or hurt, but they look really gross on my eyelid and that really annoys me. I actually rub off the flakes with cold water and my eyelid seems to go back to normal for a few hours.
Do you think it is eczema on my eyelid? Because I get eczema on my hands, arms, and scalp.. :(

Should I see a doctor about this? what should I use on them? Some people put vaseline on their eyelids but that contains petroleum so I want to avoid that option.. Thanks!

My older sister has the exact same thing. The Dr gave her hydra cortisone to put on it. She tells me that it works well. I have the same problem occasionally on the tops of my ears.
