eczema and Soy formula?
My baby is 5 months eating Nestle good start. He was breastfed until about 3 months when I made contact. Well, he has broken out on his cheeks with eczema, and it drove him crazy. I put hydrocortisone on it but it gives only temporary relief. My ped says it probably a milk allergy, and if the eczema worse to switch to a soy formula, good eczema isn't getting any better, and I hate to see my son in so much distress from itching. Is it time to switch to Soy? Has anyone had success with eczema and switch to Soy?
Eczema is an allergy. First go see a dermatologist. They can give you creams and methods to help itching. I recommend Aquaphor. You can get it at pharmacy. it will help keep skin hydrated.
