How do I get my husband to understand that my 2 year limited contact with cats & dogs?
My 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with allergies to cats and dogs dandruff. I looked it up, and the skin of dogs and can linger on furniture and clothes around the house. Well my husband family cats and dogs (not mine, because my brother and sister is very allergic to them as well), and when we were on allergist I tried to ask questions He cut me off because he thought it was irrelevant. I tried to talk to him about taking her to their house on Friday and bring her back on Saturday, or Saturday bringing her back Sunday, but he seems to think it is no big deal and that we have nothing to worry about because it only effects her eczema at this moment. I need help because he does not seem to understand that this could threaten her health, and he seems not to care when it comes to his parents he wants to put them first.

If your husband insists on bringing your daughter to her parents' might you could ask them to really clean up the house first and move pet either outside or restrict them to a room that your daughter does not advocate thoroughly vacuuming carpet (you can buy them powders you put down before you vacuum for pet odors, ect.) and the sofa and furniture can really help. When she is older, Your doctor can probably prescribe a preventive medication, but until then they should be considerate of her health.
