How can I treat baby eczema?
My 9 month old son has cut off allergies, and he has eczema around the mouth (and behind his legs). We have tried everything from a steroid cream (which we do not want to use) and an allergist recommended fragrance free lotion. We have also thoroughly cleaned the house to remove as many allergens as possible, in addition to use hypoallergenic soaps and detergents. Does anyone know how to help his eczema go down around the mouth? We have tried everything?!? FYI-We have used Aveeno, Eucerin, VaniCream, and just about all the other lotions. We have also used hydrocortisone, and now uses prescription strength desonide (which again we do not like and we try limiting the use of it). I think it was just regular Aveeno sensitive skin-I will try your suggestion. Everything is worht a shot. Sometimes it will subside in a few minutes, but it always seems to get worse during the day.
